What Is Your First Importance?

What is your first importance. Everyday. All day. Even though there are givens such as getting up, going to work, caring for children, etc., I try to embrace the same “first importance” as Paul, the writer of Corinthians, did. “For what I received I passed on to you AS OF FIRST IMPORTANCE” that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to scriptures.” If the writer of over half of the New Testament saw this as critical, I want to as well. I’ve found as I embrace this first importance of even preaching the gospel to myself, walking through mentally all Christ did for me....to the point of death, it shifts my entire outlook on the importance of the day! Does it do the same for you? Being overwhelmed by God’s love changes the course of what the world will say is important: money, material possessions, career, etc. instead, it compels us to share this great love with others. May you be overwhelmed by His great love for you today! #storyoftheday #whatisyourfirstimportance #sharechrist
